Crown & Anchor - Brampton

My wife and I went out for dinner last week at the Crown, where we have been before. The decor has been updated since our last visit, with new hardwood laminate flooring and the same cozy seating. I ordered the New York strip steak and my wife had the ribs. The owner was very friendly and made sure my steak was cooked just how I liked it (medium rare). The steak was incredibly tender and I didn't even need a knife to cut it. The sides of potatoes, carrots, butter, and mushrooms were delicious and reminded me of home-cooked meals. It was one of the best meals I've had outside of the house. It was a pleasant surprise to find such high-quality food in a pub setting. The bill was reasonable and the service was friendly and efficient. Overall, a fantastic five-star restaurant in Cognito. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her ribs as well. We will definitely be returning to the Crown and Anchor. - G Miller

This place has long been in a very strange place, a stripe-mall. If you go in the first thing, feel that it is dark and dingy. While it is clean, carpet and chairs are very worn. You need to update there. The food is what it is, cheap pub food. The staff was very nice. Not my first choice sure, but if you just want to take a drink in the area, no bad choice.

This restaurant is located in a strip mall and resembles a pub setting. They have a decent selection of draft beers available. The food served at this pub is tasty. The atmosphere is clean and comfortable.

After a round of golf, we stopped by for a quick beer. Tucked away in a nondescript location, this place seemed to be a favorite among locals. The beer was affordable, the service was friendly, but the ambiance was a little lacking.

Top off you beer with a menu full of great meals or just appetizers..the overly friendly staff can't wait to greet you.
