Beautiful fresh food and fantastic and friendly service

The interior fairly basic and welcoming, the restaurant radiated positive energy and I was promptly led to my table after entering. The service was amazing and provided water and miso soup without me asking. The miso soup tasted wonderful and I ordered a chicken katsu bento box, which was absolutely delicious. The chicken was crunchy and pleasantly flavoured and the edamame beans were perfect. The bento box came with sweet potato chips and a deep fried prawn, all of which were delicious. I would recommend this place to everyone, especially if you're fond of traditional Japanese food! I'll definitely go back whenever I can because the entire meal was absolutely delicious.

Had a yummy chirashi bowl for lunch. Service was quick and the team are attentive. Seafood was fresh, would definitely return. Delighted that bulimb a has upped its Japanese joints.

Really was impressed by this place. Staff were friendly and prompt, the interior great and we loved the food. Ate here twice last week had the ginza set and bento box. Both times the serves were large, sushi was fresh, teriyaki chicken so tasty, the salad had an unusual corn dressing which I loved, tempura was crunchy and light and the presentation was beautiful. I've read that some people thought it was a little more expensive than other restaurants on Oxford street but honestly, when you look at sizes of their serves and taste the quality of the food it really is good value. Will be back again for another quick weekend lunch

Had the pleasure of being invited to the pre opening tasting at Ginza House, a new Japanese restaurant opening along the ever bustling Oxford Street at Bulimba a few weeks ago. Adam was also invited, and we decided to go together after I finished work. Although Bulimba isn't too easy to get to via public transport, it was undeniable that the ferry ride was a very enjoyable way to unwind.
