It is not the same restaurant in a new location. For what you get in this restaurant, the Hibachi option is definitely overpriced. For 90 tips) we had 2 Hibachi meals 1 steak, 1 shrimp) with the fried rice contained a small amount of frozen peas carrots) grilled veg mostly onion red paprika, some zucchini even less mushroom) small bowl of onion broth soup and small iceberg lettuce?, 1 happily hour price cocktail 2 off),1 soda 1 divided dessert dry Sprinkle S P on food while cooking. Very laborious Hibachi experience after he had found that we had no allergies then the boss? have to work, no blooming or verbal interaction with us except the allergy question and ask for beef skill. The most boring Hibachi experience? ve had ever. That and overpriced food makes it unlikely that we are back?
We have very few restaurants in our area. Grace is a reliable option. But as soon as we got in, I was reminded why I stopped going to Grace. The place was loud. People were literally screaming at the bar. I am all for people who have fun, but a number of guests had no respect for others who were gastronomic. We put a drink order and then placed our food order because we couldn't hear or talk the sound. The place has really gone since it was opened. It needs a facelift, a good cleaning and maybe a new managment that is not afraid to ask from the control guests to sound it down.
We visited the city and decided to try Grace. The food was delicious. But this ends. The restaurant is dated and searches/feeling. It was almost empty on Saturday night. It's a red flag. It's too expensive. But what egregious was added the 18% Gratity SURPRISE to the bill. The 18% itself was not the problem..because we usually add 20% for a good experience. It was the fact that it appeared out of nowhere and applied for your bill if you have a good service. When we pointed out, the staff said there was a note on the menu. But the menu is TINY, and we haven't seen it. I actually had to use my cell phone magnifier to read the menu. This is the only restaurant I've seen that costs a 18% tip for a party of two. It is insulting!!! When we addressed the problem with an employee, she was RUDE! Your reaction was her? Are I taking her money????? the owner makes the rules?. It is obvious that this restaurant does not value its customers. Go somewhere else for good service and respect.
This is not the place to go if you want an intimate dinner with your significant others. It was extremely and unnecessarily loud. It could also use some updates inside. The food was decent, but not good enough to regain this atmosphere. The people eating outside on the terrace seemed to have a calmer intimate time. If you eat outside, it may not be too bad.
Went for happy hour July 7. Their Lo Mein is very tasty. Not greasy, flavorful, and portion sizes are plentiful.
