Pasta Jay's - Boulder

PSA: if you know and like Italian pizza, you should stick to pasta in this restaurant. My husband had pasta meatballs and he enjoyed it. I ordered a build your own pizza with mozzarella garlic, and it came laden with Parmesan (which was not mentioned anywhere on the menu). Also the crust is more like a quiche base, and not like the traditional, pizzaiolo hand stretched kind. I expressed my disappointment and the manager offered to take the pizza off the bill (despite the fact that I ate some of it as I can’t stand the idea of wasted food and never send food back as I know it ends up in the bin). So that’s got the gesture. All in, I wouldn’t go back for pizza, which is a shame as it’s a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff.

Food looked very tasty, wished for a little more flavor though. Atmosphere is phenomenal, especially the outdoor seating.

Pasta Jays is a must after an active morning around Boulder. Pack on the carbs ?

Overpriced food and I’ve heard super sketchy rumors about the owner and his family. (Look into it before coming here)
