Cactus Mexican Grill - Boston

Stopped by for a quick bite. Found some street parking in the area a block away from the restaurant. Establishment has a pretty short menu, and some indoor seats. Tacos were pretty standard but I do think they give you a nice portion of protein with each serving. Service was also very quick. I tried to order the lengua taco but they didn't have any when I was there (Saturday lunch), so I settled for a chicken taco instead. This place is more of a order to go or eat quickly inside. It's super convenient and close to the blue line.

Food portion is great here. A medium to go plate: White rice, beans, chicken wings $9.00 they also throw in a couple of tortillas for you. Good flavor, friendly quick service. Wings felt slightly salty, everything else on this plate was on point. If you're looking for a place on the go, this is a good spot to go to.

If you blink, you will miss this place, but it is has some of the best 'real ' fast food in Eastie. Everything is very well seasoned and tastes fresh. I love all the options for plates and the buffet. I feel like this place is always busy, but they move fast and I never wait too long. I personally like the buffet options and love getting a hearty plate.

I've been going to this place for about 10 years and I have seen the prices change and I couldn't believe I spent almost $20 on a burrito but food's always good also try the chimichangas that are so good

No frills, counter serve with kind employees. Got the veggie burrito and it was delicious. Would recommend.
