Contribuiți la feedbackBanh Mi Hong Que came highly recommended by a Vietnamese American friend and I'm glad I stopped by. At $7 each, these banh mi (Vietnamese style baguettes filled with cold cuts or meats) are excellent value, not just because of their huge size but also because of their fillings.Case in point: the #1 cold cut sandwich. There were multiple meats included, each shaved to a very generous thickness much more so than already satisfying banh mi I've had elsewhere in Boston and in California. A huge, meaty, savory, and satisfying portion, to put it simply. And these days it's getting tougher to find a filling lunch for just $7, so Banh Mi Hong Que hits the spot on so many levels. This is a small, takeout only venue along busy Washington Street here in Chinatown. Besides banh mi, they offer pho (soup bowls) and various ready made appetizers and entrees to go. Service is super quick and efficient. Thanks K for a most excellent recommendation!
Teriyaki tofu was absolutely killer. Quick service, amazing food at a good price.
Omg if I could live here I would! The bahn mi’s are SOOOOO GOOD!!!
Their bahn mi sandwiches are amazing and highly recommended...! Re spring roll order it came with x3 spring rolls as opposed to only 2.. and their iced coffees were also tasty!
I got a Lemon Grass Pork Bánh Mì Heo #6 that was really tasty, with very fresh French bread (just the right amount of crunch versus soft). The pork was delicious but slightly dry but offset nicely by the pickled carrots and daikon and the pate and dab of mayo. A nice layering of flavors and textures. One of the best sandwiches I’ve had in ages and I’m still thinking about it the next day and wanting another. A big sandwich and a good value at $7.50. I will be back. Shop was accessible for a rollator walker.
