Gorgeous raised outdoor patio views with beautiful desert garden beneath. Very well done! Then the food! I haven't had a burger that great in a long time. It was the kind where you need five napkins and oh, so delicious. I chose to customize mine which they encourage. Additionally, their secret sauce was yummy. Full bar available. If you need more reasons to try them out; the service was impeccable and it's adjacent to the AB Park Visitors Center.
We got the desert storm (double patty , magic mushroom, and the Oreo milkshake. The lady at the counter was very friendly and before we ordered the milkshake, she did tell us it would take her 10 minutes to make it (sign that it's good! . It seems to be a popular place as people are coming or leaving town. The burgers were appetizing but the milkshake was the best thing and i did not want to share it with the other person lol.
Stopped by this spot after a long and tiring hike to refuel with some burgers. The restaurant was tucked away in what I think is a hotel and saloon, so took more effort than we wanted to find the place. It's a very simple menu which we liked and decided to try out their specialties. We found a table outside and waited around 25 minutes for our 2 burgers. The food itself was delicious! We enjoyed the flavorful burgers and crispy fries. Their custom sauces were also delicious and we highly recommend trying those! I substituted the burger with a chicken breast in the Magic Mushroom burger which seemed to be no problem with the staff. I will definitely be back at this place in the future! The only kinks in our experience was the longer wait time and the fact that there was no one to clean the table we went to sit at.
This has the feel of a food shack at a campground. If you are staying at the resort I could see this working out nicely, but I would not go out of my way to eat here. It is order at a counter, either via a person or a clumsily terminal if the person is busy. Then grab a table inside or outside, but the inside options are not plentiful or comfortable. Burgers were OK, fries were good. Wife said her salad was great. Just kind of an awkward setup to order and eat at, not a very comfortable place to have a meal.
I got the Desert Storm, for a $12 burger I was very disappointed. It was super dry and basically burnt. Honestly a McDonald's burger would have tested better and I haven't had one from there in years. The best part of it was the fresh avocado and the bun was decent. I also got an Oreo shake and I felt like it was much more vanilla and light on the Oreo. I was super hungry after hiking in the morning and this place was a big disappointment
