Furthermore the take-away service, you can also have your lunch here: few seats are available so a reservation is recommended. Bear in mind that is not a restaurant and the opening hours have to be checked as well. Relevant the menu: it 's quite wide and you can find typical courses mainly. Other courses are available so the choice is quite wide. Quality is definitely high and you will be certanily satisfied! Last and pleaseful surprise, prices are absoultely reasonable especially if compared with other places in the nearby. Strongly recommended.
I wandered in at 1:30pm and was delighted to find this place open serving hot pasta. It's mostly a deli (with a beautiful selection of fresh pasta, cheese, meat and other deli bits) but they also cook the pasta for you. I had malfatti (spinach dumplings) with mushroom sauce, followed by an espresso and it was very tasty. There are only two tables inside about three outside so it's not huge, but it feels relaxed, bright and authentic. I don't speak Italian, but the lady serving understood enough of my mumbling and hand gestures for me to have no problems. A fantastic fresh pasta, soft drink and espresso cost me €11.
A family run spot, and it's one of the best food we had over the few days trip in Italy, by far. A quick pit stop after the baths become a food feast for us. Bread, antipasti, meats, vine, pasta, lasagne can't fault the flavours and service by Stefano (grazie mille). You can even grab some for takeaways and cook/reheat the food later. Recommended for sure anyone passing by or staying in the area.
When we arrived at this small eatery, the host couple was closing the place. As we entered, they were quick to reopen; light candles, heat and cover table for 3. We were presented with the menu card and all ordered a minestrone soup for starters. In addition, we each ordered something different for the main course; risotto with mushrooms, tagliatelle with mushrooms and roast veal with polenta. In addition, we drank water and a glass of wine for the adults. 2 dishes and a little drink for 3 people cost € 55. The meal tasted excellent and the small room with only 2 tables was cozy and richly decorated exciting place to eat.
The restaurant has an honest Italian feel. The food was excellent, cheese and cured meats to start and we both had pasta mains. Excellent
