Long time ago I tried the funghi pizza and it was really good Definitely stayed in my memory for a while.
Possibly one of the worst places I have ever eaten to in Sydney. I never write reviews but I had to go out of my way to write one for this place cause it was SHOCKING! the pizza was really average, Burt, with uncooked veggies on it and was served on a boiling metal plate that was passed to us without any warning, resulting in my friends getting burnt from it. The pizza we got given was the wrong one. The drinks took ages to arrive and the room we were putted in was infested by cockroaches. To top it if I think the dough wasn’t done properly as we all got so sick from the meal. (I eat pizza daily and this never happened to me before). Probably the yeast or the cheese wasn’t good. The service was also pretty bad. We had to ask for napkin, extra cups and drinks several times even tho the place was pretty much empty. Looked like the staff wasn’t following up with the orders at all and were unsure of what they were doing. The Location and the venue is great! The place has potential... shame the food and service isn’t comparable. I won’t go back
Brilliant addition to the Bondi Dining Scene. The Med meets the Pacific perfectly at Italio House. Funky fit out, amazing staff and some of the best traditional style pizza I’ve had in Oz. I’ll be back for sure. Great cocktails also.............enough said
