La Cascada Table - Boerne

Brisket nachos, stuffed quail, the pasta and burger were soo yummy! With the perfect view ????

The Hill Country views are more enticing than the food. The empanadas were the best part of the meal. Perfectly fried and flavorful. The fried chicken sandwich was over cooked and bland. The house burger was cooked correctly, but significantly underseasoned. Saving graces... besides the view... our server Tori was great. She was friendly, helpful, and attentive. Also, thebar can put out a good Old Fashioned, and is well stocked with liquor and beer options. I would recommend the empanadas andbourbon while watching the game... skip the entrees. Cheers!

I was somewhat disappointed with my visit to La Cascada. While the views were nice, the restaurant was out of several appetizers and meal options. Additionally, the resort's lobby appeared a bit dated. I wouldn't recommend making the trip for a meal unless you're planning to golf at the resort.

I found the food to be far from the grand experience they claim it to be. When I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak, it was served on a plate with the mashed potatoes and green beans hidden beneath the meat and drenched in gravy. This made it quite challenging to access the other items on the plate—definitely not a good presentation. Additionally, the meat was tough. Given the price point, and my willingness to spend on quality food, I was left very disappointed. They say to give a restaurant two chances to get a fair assessment, but I can’t see myself coming back for a second visit. Moreover, finding the restaurant was a hassle; the signs were small and unclear, which left us looking for a Pro Shop sign instead. Once again, a lack of proper presentation. Overall, I was not impressed with this establishment at all, and neither were the people I was with. Take this review for what it’s worth.

Situated within the Tapatio Springs Hotel and golf course, this restaurant and bar proved to be a fantastic addition to our five-day stay. The food was quite good, as we dined here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the staff were friendly and attentive. We enjoyed eating both indoors and on the patio. Their pizza is outstanding! I highly recommend visiting, especially if you’re staying at the resort. We will definitely be back.
