The Big Biscuit - Blue Springs

A very nice diner type environment, portions are wonderful, price is very reasonable, staff friendly. And that was my favorite place since my visit to Biscuits n gravy

The Blue Springs site has a slightly different menu. We went during the week, and even tho they were busy, we didn't have to wait. The waiter was great, everything was right. I had the spinach and mushrooms omelet with Swiss cheese. Hubby had cookies and Gravy, scrambled eggs. Everything was perfectly cooked. I had to take half of myself home. So good for me. We usually go on 40 highways, that's also good. You can't go wrong with one.

Very busy on Sunday. Everyone knows where the good food is. 25 minutes, we sat after 15 minutes. The food was hot and delicious quickly arrived. Friendly staff and very friendly atmosphere. (Older Herr had left a pile of mint for ppl. All about the cookies and Gravy.

You need to be truly outstanding to get a 5 star rating from me. This place nearly got it. The food was outstanding. Our waitress was fantastic. They're only slip was the delivery of our orders. It was brought out by staff members who didn't take our order. Normally this wouldn't be an issue but those staff members did not use the cute/distinct names in the menu and we (a table of 7) had trouble figuring out who's breakfast was going where. Then, to add more confusion, we ended up with at least one plate of food that we didn't order. Our apologies to whoever ordered the bacon hashbrowns, but if it's any comfort, it was very tasty! ? Overall, this was a very good experience and I would highly recommend The Big Biscuit to anyone passing through the area.

Always great service and hot fresh food. Way to much food for one person but my Bulldogs love it when I get home.
