Biaggi's Italiano - Bloomington

Quality has really gone downhill. Used to be a favorite place of mine. Tonight. My food was very salty. Green beans taste and smelled like plastic. My wife and daughter said their meal was good. Waitress didn't check on the table much. I was pretty disappointed. Biaggi's used to be one of my favorites.

Food was outstanding. The complimentary house focaccia bread was very good. Service was friendly and fast.

A very nice Italian Restraunt in Bloomington/Normal Illinois on W.Empire St/Rte 9 Great food, wine, service, and atmosphere. Pricing was reasonable. Would I recommend eating there and going back there? yes!!!! They were very accommodating to us, two old friends who both live out of state, meeting up after a lot of years not seeing each, catching up for about 3 hours. We had an appetizer, the half/half, which was salad a pizza, and great wine.

Ordered the meatball and goat cheese appetizer and the marinara sauce was incredible the goat cheese was so creamy absolutely recommend it. Ordered the lasagna and chicken parmesan both had great flavor. I can't remember what my dish was called it had sausage, shrimp, chicken, and scallions the sauce was jam packed with flavor. The dessert we ordered was the creme brulee was ok and the white chocolatebread pudding was pretty good.The service was not very good. The waitress focused on a table that had more than ours and seemed bothered that we were there. Dietary restrictions: They have a gluten free menu

It was a very nice atmosphere and the food was delicious. Our server did an ok job. She seemed very nervous but maybe she was still trained or something.
