Bobby's Downtown - Bldg Fort Wainwright

I have never had a bad meal here 15 years, love the heated bar around the bar. I think this is my favorite restaurant in Fairbanks since they always treat me right and the meals are all delicious

Better food than in Greece (spent 3 months in Greece).

Ordered Togo. The owner (assumption) old Greek man) looked at me multiple times by the wait to be seated sign and just ignored me. Server did the same. I don 't know why they behaved this way, but I just sat on the stairs and waited for 15 minutes, while the owner just stood there 10 feet from me. Finally the bar tender noticed me seated on the stairs. Approaches me like she 's go8ng to kick me out, I tell her I have a Togo order, both workers demeanor changes immediately. As soon as they knew they were getting my money very fake friendly. Food was fine except it sat on the counter the ent8re time I waited in the lobby so was cold by th3 time I had it. Response to Owner The owner response that no one saw you is a lie I made eye contact with a staff member (the old greek man) prior to sittin down, then the staff member continued to have a personal conversation with guests at a table for the entire time I was seated. Their staff absolutely knew I was their and ignored me. The owner says they are sorry, but they are just upset they have a bad review.

Impressive is all I can say about this establishment

Very nice dinner for our last night in Fairbanks. I had the broiled Halibut, Greek salad and Ekmek for dessert (yummy) The salad was different as there was no lettuce in it. The waiters were very attentive. Check out the bathroom before you leave!
