I visited New Jersey last week, said a friend, he would like to take me for dinner at Oscars I had never heard of Oscars as I live in Florida now, but originally from this area time when we pulled it familiar, but then we went to the back room and I asked what the name of this restaurant was, and they told me, Francisco's, I said, my son 26 years ago and 10 months ago I had my son baptizing table

Dine in or pick up. do not order the Delivery service or maybe i had bad luck because this is a great restaurant. The delivery wasn't nearly as good as eating at the restaurant. 5 stars in restaurant 3 stars for delivery 4 stars. Great food though i was dissapointed with the quality when it was delivered.

Oscars is our “go to” restaurant along with Fontanella in Tappan. But this review is for Oscars. He has exquisitely prepared food. My wife and I have been coming here for years. You cannot get better quality veal anywhere! His veal francese is so good. Get it with a side of linguini with garlic and oil al dente and you will be in heaven. He also has home made potato croquettes that are the best and you don’t see them most places. Daniel is his main waiter and he knows how to treat you right. Honestly, the dining room needs and update to make it more intimate but we don’t care when we are looking for a great meal. If you like seafood try his Shrimp Bianco over a bed of linguine. Awesome. His baked clams are always fresh and small the way like them. Can’t say enough about this place. Again, if you are looking for a low lit intimate dining place you won’t find it here but good food and nice martinis is the ticket for me!

The food has been very good each time we have been there. Oscar aims to please and will tweak your dish to your specification. My favorite dishes never disappointment! The service is excellent. Very friendly staff.

Oscars is amazing. The food is melt in your mouth fabulous. Everything is fresh and flavorful. The menu is interesting and varied.
