Highfield Fish - Birmingham

Really good fast food. I got the normal fish and chips and it tasted great. Will come back again for more unhealthy food that tastes so good

Service is rubbish they follow instructions when you order. They don’t seem to care if you are upset with the service or food. I ordered chicken and chips and after 25 minutes and serving few customers who came after me they say I have to wait 10 more minutes for chips. I walk out with just the fried chicken.

I dislike going to this chip shOp but am forced to as its really close. I went in today and ordered a large fish and chips. When I got home I was disgusted by the chips. They were clearly refried from the night before. they were black and hard. the fish as usual wasn't great, all mushy inside. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Such a shame. Can truly say this was a very disappointing meal. The staff were very nice and sympathic. The decor and ambience you cannot fault but the food was pretty awful. We had the fish board which was not great. Felt like it was something you could get from Iceland party platter. The coq au vin was strange. Very beefy in flavour. I did leave most of it...and the restaurant did not charge for it. We have been here before and it has always been great but I would not return.

Ok place but the chips they do not put enough in and the cone Beas half empty.Another problem is they do not listen to instructions because once I asked the to put just salt and vinegar on and they put so much chilly sauce on my chips so I had to come back
