Nearly $10 for tator tots? Really? When we visited on a Tuesday evening, the restaurant was completely empty. A couple came in but left after 10 minutes, leaving us as the only diners. It's no wonder with those prices. It seems that Happy Hour is the busy time here. The $14 mixed drinks in small glasses didn't impress me either. If you don't mind spending a lot of money, the main courses were fantastic.
This was my first visit to Au Cochon. My husband had been there a few times and recommended it as a great place for my friend I to meet in Birmingham. We both found it very pleasant. We hadn't seen each other in a long time and the waiter was very accommodating in giving us space time to catch up a little. He recommended a very tasty appropriate started for us to share with our glass of wine during this time. Our meals were delicious and plentiful. I highly recommend this restaurant.
The food and service was excellent. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for really good food.
Delicious food! Split the wedge salad and the Eggs Benedict with a friend. It was so yummy! Definitely will be going back!
The restaurant has a lovely outdoor terrace for dining. The steak frites was delicious and tender. The martini was tasty, but it was served in a small coupe glass. I would definitely go back again.
