Contribuiți la feedbackI don't relish leaving this review, if only because I love the other location so much. The food and service for pickup has only gone well when I've ordered from the 5 Points restaurant, but every time I've placed an order with the 280 location I've had issues, whether with the food or getting the order. Either the order itself can't be found for a extended period of time, isn't ready even 15 minutes after the estimated pick up time, is missing menu items, and/or the food just isn't good. And calling that location (when they are open) is often pointless- 9 times out of 10 my calls has gone to a generic voice mail. I especially love Bay Leaf's lamb chops, but both times I've ordered them from this location they have been overcooked to the point that the and the last time I ordered them I received three. So I'll keep going to 5 Point and you should too, but skip this location.
A friend of mine, from India, was saying bham didn't have a good Indian restaurant. We tried out Bay Leaf due to the buzz. We were not disappointed. This is more than Indian food, it's elevated food utilizing classic Indian flavors and dishes. The drink menu is so creative and part of the flavor journey. We both tried the $40 meal that includes a bread, an appetizer, a main dish and a dessert. That is a ton of food for the money! We had the GOL GAPPA SHOTS, street Dosa, butter chicken, goat kadhai, rasmalai and caramelized jamun. Everything was absolutely delicious. The shots were so interesting and unique. The dosa had 4 tasty dips. Both curries were incredibly flavorful. And the desserts were both unlike anything I've had before. The real test was my friend. She was blown away and plans to bring her family back.
Our family of 6 got there on a Saturday at 5pm. The restaurant was clean, modern, and friendly service. But the food took way too long to come out and the flavors were just ok. We got lamb vindaloo, Manchurian chicken, and another curry dish. I was expecting more intense flavors
Our first time here. The restaurant is very clean with a nice calm atmosphere. Good ambiance. The menu is fairly simple, with just enough variety to have good choices, but not so many things that it is overwhelming. They have two combo meals. Combo b includes an appetizer, a main course and a bread for $30. Combo a adds a dessert for $37. We chose combo b . We got the samosas and the beef ribs for appetizers, butter chicken for the main courses, and both butter naan and garlic naan, along with some raita. We had water and mango lassi to drink. The mango lassi was delicious, and super thick. The samosas (2) came with sweet and savory sauces. They were excellent. The beef ribs are awesome! They removed the bone so it 's pretty easy to eat, and the flavor of the sauce on top is fantastic. The butter chicken came out super hot, we munched on the naan while is cooled. Crispy, buttery, and just the right amount of garlic to make it perfect. The butter chicken was outstanding. Maybe one of the best I 've ever had. We got mild, so there was just a hint of heat, barely noticeable. All in all, a great meal at a reasonable price. We 'll be back for sure!
I love Indian cuisine and was excited to try this place. I was not disappointed! I love samosas and boy were these good. Actually, they were absolutely delicious! The crust was light flaky, not greasy but crunchy, too. The filling was perfect wonderfully seasoned with just enough spice to make your taste buds want more. I will definitely go back for more and you should too you won't regret it!
