The atmosphere is a mixture of Station buffet and Thai-Restaurant and the opening hours were written from 7am to late in the evening... but it's not written that the kitchen just opened at 6.30pm on a Saturday... so we had to wait.. but my beef salad was very very tasty and I really enjoyed it.. also the food of the others was ok..but not that perfect'There was no Thai Service Stuff - it was Swiss, but Thai people in the kitchen.. if I would settle in this area I would go there again, because also the prices were really ok'
All started well... we wanted to try this thai restaurant in the area - and went there on a Monday evening for dinner ! We decided to go for a Sweet and Sour : a disaster... just vinager ! Took me a few hours to digest it... and for a phanang chicken curry ! My wife has difficulties with milk products. In Thailand, they don't cook with Milk as you know. Just after the meal, she was sick for 2 days... not a good experience !!! We love Thai kitchen... shame to be in this situation ! Better to go elsewhere !!!
If you're early for your train or desperately need a good Thai lunch in the heart of the Chablais, look no further than Took-Took, a rather large and quaint restaurant next to the train tracks in Bex. Surrounded by statues of the Buddha in various poses of meditation and relaxation we had delicious soups and a beer. The service was fast and friendly. And the bill wasn't at all steep.Worth a visit
