Pros Located on a beautiful and historic estate dating back to the 1920's Great views of the Mt Washington range from the patio and estate grounds Excellent on site dinner dining Great location and access to area attractions, hiking trails, and town of Bethlehem The Inn's host (Ben) was very nice and a great embassador for the Inn and the surrounding area Cons The overall Inn and grounds appeared neglected for some time and requiring of some basic maintenance inside and out raising the question of whether the place is on the decline. Given that we stayed between Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, it was very disappointing that there were no seasonal decorations that you would expect or look forward to when staying at a classic New England inn (a couple of rotting pumpkins on the front doorstep didn't quite meet expectations). There was basically no comfortable common sitting areas in the Inn. Any potential for nice fireside or mountain view sitting areas appeared to be used instead for an expanded dining area or the business office. Other than the host mentioned above, the other staff/management/chef were not friendly, engaging, or welcoming, and appeared stressed or discontented with their situation. It's been a difficult few years with Covid and labor issues, etc; hopefully this place will find a way to meet it's amazing potential. Rooms: 3 Service: 3 Location: 5

Adair was absolutely incredible. While we only went for dinner and cocktails, the rooms and grounds looked amazing as well. Sarah was an amazing server and everything was inviting. Highly recommend the lamb and the scallops/shrimp over fresh made linguine.

Enjoy coming to this location and the food they serve. Because I got my reservation in late I chose to sit outside and enjoy the Fall Foliage which has been quite the best. Never staying in the Inn, others have said it was to their liking. Service is great and accommodating. Not too far from major routes and towns as well as sights to see a must. I feel you will walk away feeling satisfied.

We had a fantastic experience at the Adair Country Inn and can’t wait to go back! The service was exceptional, starting from our reservation with Savannah to the warm welcome and tour by Ben, and the thoughtful care and engaging conversations with Martha. The breakfast was incredible, and the grounds are absolutely beautiful! Don’t miss the opportunity to visit the lower level for a game of pool, enjoy tea in the parlor, or relax outside amidst the stunning landscaping. Our room was spacious, and the bed was super comfortable. We loved the Turkish towels and robes, and even had a Nespresso machine in our room—such lovely touches! This place is truly a hidden gem!
