Not as good as previous owners. You still have a unique steak hoagie that meets the point when you are hungry (a half of Hoagie fills me). Order extra sauce on the steak cooking.
Still the best. In the 50 years I went to Danny that many places have come and have gone, claiming that they are as good as Danny 's or as Danny 's, and maybe some of them were, but who is interested. As long as Danny's still here to make the best locusts, I don't see any reason to find something just as good. A true Pittsburgh legend. This is the one who come and visit when they are back in town do not know or take care of the bread sticks or the calzone or even the steak-hoagies. It is the Italian Hoagies for which this place is famous. They were always and are still the best.
Best Steak Hoagie I had... The only complaint I have about Danny is that they don't deliver. If they do, I wouldn't call another pizza shop. But sometimes you don't feel like going out and calming down for less than the best. Danny's and Bethel Deli's Hoagies are the best in Bethel Park, period. No other places even come close. I love the Sicilian pizza, although my husband does not care how he likes a thin crust, but if you like a beautiful fat pan pizza, this is the one. You have another square pan pizza, which is a flatter crust, which is also really brilliant. Buffalo chicken hoagie is also very good, unlike some other places I can actually see the chicken on it and taste the sauce.
Best hoagies ever. Been coming here for years and their Italian hoagies have never let me down. Best I ever had!!!
