Contribuiți la feedbackThis restaurant is like a hidden oasis in the city, with beautiful surroundings. The food was excellent, with a daily changing menu. We tried the vegan burger, which was made with homemade bread and sauce. The side salad was fresh from the garden. We also enjoyed the almond cake and rice pudding, both delicious. On our first visit in the evening, they had run out of some dishes but we still had a pleasant experience with drinks. We learned to go early for our second visit at lunchtime to ensure we got our desired dishes.
Even if you're not feeling hungry, you should definitely find a way to visit this restaurant. It's a community garden run by volunteers, and you can see their love and passion for the project in every aspect. Locals can rent a garden bed to grow their own vegetables, but they also offer vegetables and herbs for sale in communal beds. They also serve delicious drinks (make sure to try their lemonades!) and small dishes made from their homegrown produce. You can enjoy your meal or drink in the garden itself. The pricing system is based on solidarity: pay less if you have a limited budget, or pay more to support the garden and its mission.
If you happen to be nearby, why not stop in for a coffee, cake, small snack, or Veggie Burger and take a stroll through the communal garden. It's one of the unique spots in Berlin to check out.
Seriously, I drove so often in this place, without even considering that this little green paradise would only be hidden around the corner. There are cooking classes and a small café where they serve salads that they can prepare from the plants and salads they grow in the garden. I'd go back there if I happened to be in the area and escaped a pretty place for a while.
This place is so beautiful, it is like a small oasis of green in the city and eating was very good. it changes daily, but we had the vegan burger. from brot to sauce everything was homemade. besidesalat came from the garden. we also had the mandelkuchen and reispudding, both very good. we went to the first time in the night and they run out of the food. it was still nice to have a drink. for the second time we went there at lunchtime. So I have to commit to going there early.
