Finally found a good local spot that serves real Suadero, (slow cooked beef from a comal , the convex pot with the raised middle), made by some Taqueros, who use great fresh ingredients and are highly skilled at putting together a good taco which I 'm telling you, is no small thing. I ordered three Suadero tacos and my friend ordered a sope, which is like an extra thick tortilla top with a ton of yummy stuff.I was surprised to see that there are actually Doritos, and other potato chips that are created specifically for an audience that wants extra grease, extra salt, and extra everything. Never seen that before. Lol.As little as I like to share local secrets, this place is a great taco spot, especially if you like real Suadero. Conveniently located on the corner of Gilman and San Pablo. They 're open about 5 or 6 days a week. I think. Highly recommended!PieroIf you want to see more of my reviews, which are now at 25 million views, click on my profile and follow the map! Thanks!.
Great food and the prices are great too. Most fillings are excellent though the carnitas are too salty sometimes. Mulitas are delish.
Don't buy Milanese cakes, they gave me a fake Milanese and in addition to the fact that the meat is not real, it looks like breaded leather, they sell it for $18 dollars. They are scamming with the food. Be careful, check your food and take a photo and report it.
Pretty good if you’re ok spending 15-20 dollars for a torta. Never in my life have I seen one priced so high, especially for street food. One could go to a sit down restaurant for less. I recommend going elsewhere due to the price but if you got deep pockets come here.
I got that monster burrito and it was not good. As far as service, the music is so loud U have to yell your order. Ambiance: it's in a parking lot. This place is nothing to write home about. And about that burrito, I was on the toilet immediately after I ate it. The meat was dry. It wasn't tasty and delicious. Shell super dry on the inside. The best thing I got from here was the Jamaica and the cup it came in.
