El Campanario - Benito Juarez

I complained about my food the steak, chips, 1 sad looking piece Broccoli was all very cold, it was sent back to the kitchen to be warmed up, but it came just as cold, so I left most of it. I told them that I was not happy to pay the full amount, but the manager was so arrogant, he argued and argued and then incredibly brought a dish of sewn food out of the bin and threw it on the table, he told me that I had eaten it all and stood over the table together with other staff until I paid the bill. He told me I wouldn't go without paying, they would follow me, they had cameras, etc. I had hoped for something so sad as little this guy understands about customer service, it was really incredible. As you can see from other reviews, they are dodgy, caution.

Delicious food and welcoming atmosphere! My husband and I had pasta dishes and they were unbelievable. An absolute must when visiting Puerto Morelos.

Fabulous Rib Eye Steak. Probably one of the best I ever had. My experience with Mexican meat was not great, but this place was the exception. Nice al fresco dining room, but get reservations. This place is full.

We loved this place, plates were simply prepared with mashed potatoes and a great steak. Fresh warm bread was brought out before the meal. We had the rib eyes, the best experience we have had with beef in Mexico as most often the cuts are substandard but not at this little gem!

This is still one of our favourite restaurants in PM as they use good ingredients and cook them well. Many of the dishes you can see being cooked over the charcoal at the back of the restaurant and the steaks are the best we can find in PM. There is a good atmosphere in which Saul and his staff look after you and when you get the bill you're happy to pay for good food and good service.
