After having an awful meal experience the night before at another restaurant, we were slightly nervous trying to find somewhere!! Slight error with one of the starter orders but fortunately as it was a cold starter, it was fixed within minutes!! The group had a variety of dishes, all very tasty, well cooked and seasoned!!
The original Italian we were planning to visit was closed, so we decided to nip to the one next door instead which turned out to be a good choice. The seafood pizzas were delicious and reasonably priced. My stepdads calzone was huge, but lacked tomato sauce and was slightly burnt on the outside. One thing that let the visit down, was the service at the end of the meal, where the waitress took away plates as one member of the group were still eating.
We ordered two pizza's and a lasagna and a house white wine. The wine turned up Red but was changed with no issue. The pizza's were very tasty and the lasagna was bubbling hot and delicious. It was nice to find somewhere nice down a side street that had a lovely ambience.
Second time we’ve been here.. Beautiful pizzas. Service great. Wait awhile for the food but then you know it’s made fresh. Excellent service. Wine Lovely and you can order a half carafe too. Would definitely recommend and come back again.
