To be honest, our experience makes me strongly suspect that the staff and management are inexprienced. We were 3 adults and we started off with beers. When you are told beer will be in a can you expect a tallboy in Canada, but these were the small sized cans. No big deal so far....We placed our orders and began the waiting game. I ordered Wings and my wife had a sandwich. The sandwich doesnt even come with fries or onion rings or anything you have to add them for $3.50 which i have never seen before. After nearly an HOUR of waiting our entrees came out. The fish tacos were bland, my wings were barely warm and my wifes sandwich came with fries even though she ordered onion rings. At this point we were so late to our after dinner plans we barely complained as we couldnt wait for the resolution. The table next to us had issues with their order as well and when the waitress discovered it she still had the nerve to ask them if they would "eat it like that anyway or if they want it redone"It was the special fish taco night. There were only 4 or 5 other tables with patrons, and our meals still took an HOUR including the special. All to the tune of $95.00I will NEVER come back to this joke again. Its a real shame as the location is great.
Voor een snelle makkelijke maaltijd was het goed. We hebben hamburgers besteld en die waren zeker smakelijk
Party of 9, mixed ages, we were told it was ok to sit together. Ordered drinks which arrived reasonably promptly after about five minutes, then we were told by the waitress that they were "out of pizza" - which was the choice for 8 of us, and around a third of the menu choices. With hindsight we should have left then however we had already been to another place that couldn't seat us all, it was a lovely setting and there were burgers on the menu which we then ordered - total order was 6 standard burgers, 2 veggie burgers and a chicken Caesar wrap, each with a side order of fries. After an hour I called the waitress over to ask where our food was - we had plans for the drive-in at Picton and didn't want to be late. We were told it was taking so long because there were 9 of us and it wouldn't be much longer - how this is longer to make than tables of 5 and 4 I don't know. Another 15 mins passed and I called the waitress over again - she was apologetic and said she would find out what was keeping our food, and returned to say it was "being plated up right now". We started the stopwatch and after 12 mins I went over to the kitchen area to ask why we were still waiting for our food to be told by someone else that the delay was because they had run out of onion rings - none of our party had ordered onion rings. I requested our food quickly as we were all pretty hungry by then particularly the children. After five more minutes I approached them again - nobody had come to update us or anything - again asking where the food was. It was finally served however the burgers were cold. We complained and were told that anything that was "edible" would be charged at 50% off and anything that could not be eaten would not be charged for. We were all so hungry by this point and in a rush for the cinema that we did what we could - by no means enjoyable but those with standard burgers ate up (reports that the burgers were not only cold but burnt too!) however the veggie burgers were like rubber and couldn't possibly be consumed. We asked for the bill to find we'd been charged $68 inc taxes, which was very disappointing. When I went to pay I commented how poor things were and was told it's "not usually like this" and they offered to remake our veggie burgers "on the house" which was declined as after 2 hours waiting we had to go, via Tim Hortins to get some food into us. A special night meeting up with family I hadn't seen in 3 years was very much tainted by this experience.
4 of us down to The Pier for their Tuesday Taco special - We all had fish tacos and not wanting to sound like Clara Peller but "Where's the Fish"?? These were the sparsest fish taco's any of us had ever had - the fish was maybe an inch to an inch and a half and looked like a fish stick - a very small fish stick at that!!. A couple pieces of lettuce and a couple of slivers of peppers and voila sparse fish tacos - be warned.....
