Dickey's Barbecue Pit - Beaverton

More has to do with the catering team than the actual load. I have offers for 3 different prices for a catering event. first it was $18 a teller, then they changed it to $20 because they said the website price was wrong. ok, I can live with it as they offer a 10% catering discount online so it would compensate him. call them to pay the 50% deposit and they tell me that they actually did not have the 10% off and they changed the $660 delivery fee to $850. ha! what a sweat. I don't understand why they can't find any prizes for catering if this is what they do?

I tried ordering food to be delivered but the order was canceled and now after speaking to the manager I still haven't received a refund. So $55 later needless to say not going to do that again. Nobody seems to want to take responsibility, shameful.

Ordered the half rack of ribs with the side of Mac and cheese and barbecue beans. The best part of the entire meal was the Dr. Pepper. The ribs were stiff and room temperature, majority of the meat I couldn't chew because of how stiff it was. The mac and cheese was cold and nothing special about the flavor. The beans were decent at least.

This is a hard review. The food is blah however the service is good. The staff is attentive, very helpful and was there to answer questions if asked. When we walked in we were politely greeted and had a good conversation with the guy making the sandwiches. Unfortunately, that's where the good stops. The bread on the sandwich is thick and dry. The beat had no flavor at all. I never encountered barbecue that could not have the smoke flavor. The green beans had some spices and were cooked nicely. The red beans were cooked soft however the flavor was in the juices, which means the beans were not slow cooked. Sorry, I will not be back.

Out of all the fast sandwich places this one has the rest beat by a long shot. One of the employees took this huge slab of delicious looking brisket out on the oven and put it on the carving board... I was ? ? ?
