Edith's Cakes Catering - Beaver Dam

Leaving 1 star because apparently you have to pick at least 1. Stopped for breakfast this morning, waitress took our drink order and gave us menus after a couple minutes. Last we saw of her. 2 or 3 tables, obviously regular customers (waitstaff chatting and looking at pictures with them) sat after us, they had their orders taken within 3 minutes. Waitress made eye contact within us during this time, yet never returned to our table. After 20 minutes (at least) we put 2 dollars on the table for 1 coffee that was drank and sat empty waiting for a refill for 5 minutes, and 1 soda that was never touched. We dine out quite a bit, and are very conscious and understanding about the current staffing issues, however, ignoring a customer is not only rude, but detrimental to business. Will NOT return. Will NOT recommend Edith's under any circumstances.

Edith's catered my wedding, I was absolutely blown away with how amazing and friendly the staff were and the absolutely outstanding job they did. They were so organized, food was amazing! Marian did an amazing job on the cakes as well they were SO good. I highly recommend them!

This place takes small town hole in the wall diner to a whole new level! We started coming here a decade ago when we lived in the town, and now we still make trips to Edith's even though we live an hour away! 4.9 out of 5 stars, only because they close at 2pm daily.

We were here late morning so 1 had breakfast and one had lunch, both were just wonderful, not super fancy or anything, just fill your belly with delicious. The soup was so good I ordered a 2nd cup which is something I've never done before. They had fresh made fruit pie for dessert and im a pie guy and this was a 10 out 10. Lastly credit must be given to our server, she was not just friendly and helpful, she was old friend or neighbor friendly and helpful, this just finished filling in the outstanding experience that was this meal...I highly recommend Ediths

We picked up meals to go. The prime rib was done just the way we ordered it and was delicious. All the other parts of the meal were also very good. The meals were a steal for the cost.
