Waffle House - Beaufort

This location is OPEN again! We love this Waffle House. Staff is always friendly and when not serving customers they are often seen cleaning up so this location is usually tidy and neat. Which cannot be said for many other locations. Lack of cleanliness is often the number one complaint from folks who have never visited a WH before. Some diners are unaware that you can order a variety of items that are not on the main menu. We always order "old fashioned "omelets (the eggs are mixed by hand and not whipped with that horrible commercial beater) Sooooo much better. They have plenty of fillings to choose from but my go to is mushroom, onion, ham and cheese. You can also add things like jalapeños and tomatoes. The ingredients are all well seasoned and well balanced........Mixed in with some of their crispy hash browns and it 's the perfect breakfast bite.

Cooks don't appear to be concerned about cleanliness and germ transfers from unclean areas to your food. Gloves touching unclean areas under the grill and floor than grabbing the bread with same gloves to toast and butter. Just down right filthy. Will never enter there businesses again in life.

This Waffle House was amazing! The gentlemen there were attentive, quick, and very polite. This was truly a treat. We were in and out within 30 minutes.

The lady's at night have no idea what they are doing. Customer service is awful waited over 30 mins after order was placed and still hadn't made our food. But made a lady's food that had been there 10mins. When asked about our food she left to make a personal phone call. Just awful service

By far the worst experience. I got here when the restaurant was empty. The cook had no care to who was here. 40 minutlater I finally got my food. It was by far the most difficult time I've had to bite my tongue.
