La Moreliana - Beaufort

Delicious, authentic tacos. Doesn't look like much from the outside, but the casual restaurant at the back of the market serves up delicious tacos. We tried the pork and chicken tacos and thought both were flavorful. Only toppings are onions, cilantro and green sauce, but that's all it needs!

The food was amazing and traditional. Friendly service--warm and welcoming. This is a hidden gem.

If you're looking for authentic tacos, it doesn't get much better than this place! They've got only a few menu items and you just choose your meat for each taco and it comes with onions and cilantro but every meat is so well seasoned, they're all delicious. It is pretty small and very busy around lunch time but it's for a reason! I believe they have a grocery store in the front part of the building but I haven't ventured in there yet.

A friend recommended this place, we didn't speak Spanish but our waitress helped us figure it out. She also made the food and IT WAS TO DIE FOR. AMAZING. amazing service, food was delicious, and inexpensive. We will be returning A LOT

I stopped in for the first time today. I come into town a few times a year and have driven by multiple times. Decided to stop in today on the way back from the dump. The outside is modest, but if you've ever been to California, the best authentic taquerias are. I entered, looking lost, and was greeted by two friendly employees. I speak little to no Spanish, but there were at least two folks working there that spoke English and they were very quick to help me. I ordered two asada and two al pastor tacos, and an asada torta. I've spent a lot of time in SoCal, Mexico, and these tacos were absolutely among the best I've ever had. Simple, quality ingredients done perfectly. Tortillas perfectly charred, tender meat, crispy fresh onions, and crunchy, flavorful cilantro. And the salsa! Thick, you can taste the roast on the vegetables. The fresh jalapeño on the torta gave a great and flavorful kick, but not too much. The point, these folks know what they're doing. They make great food and we're very friendly. I will be going back as often as I'm in town. Really a five star experience
