Mandarin Restaurant - Bay Roberts

This restaurant is the best in the city, offering a wide selection of Korean and Japanese dishes. The prices may be higher due to the ingredients being shipped here, but if you're looking for variety in Korean and Japanese cuisine, this is the place to be.

Came here on a Saturday night. Very quiet. Had a combo plate and then prawn cashew nut and vegetable rice. Big portion sizes and great taste.

Our first time stopping here after passing by many times since general area looks a bit run down. Late lunch for 4. Each of us had different dishes but loved the General Tao chicken. Some of the tastest Chinese food we have had in years. Owner was very friendly, place was clean and pleasant. We all enjoyed our meals and will be back.

Freshly prepared, absolutely delicious dishes with attention to detail, no MSG, very reasonable prices, and friendly knowledgable service -- what's not to love? The Mandarin's menu includes familiar favourites as well as more traditional Chinese dishes for those who want to try something new. Staff are attentive and knowledgable, and careful regarding food allergies (thank you). We loved having a chat with one of the owners too. Don't miss a chance to enjoy a tasty lunch or satisfying dinner here! Looking forward to the next time.

We had a lovely dinner the owner chatted with and had remembered our previous visit. Food was excellent. Good atmosphere. The Lemon Chicken was wonderful.
