The food was kind of expensive for the portions and how dry the tortilla was

Besides it being a bit noisy due to the acoustics of the building at the time of my experience everything was great. I would say it 's kind of unconventional upon entry/welcoming, too. There are 2 hostess stands to the left and right which we weregreeted very kindly at and asked if it was our first time being there. The menu was quickly reviewed with us by the hostess andwe were told to order then sit where we wanted. Well, I felt in the way standing in the doorway trying to figure out what Iwanted as others started entering the restaurant and even wondered if we were going to have anywhere to sit by the time wedecided even though we were there in line first. Off we went....with our trophy style table number stand/flag! The servicewas super fast....Awesome! Our appetizer met us at the table. Literally. Soon after there was our nicely presented main course.Yay! We had the Taco and the Boom tacos and an order of Taquitos minus lettuce, pico de gallo, and drizzled avocado ranchbecause of allergies along with chips/salsa/queso. I tried the Cocorita margarita, too. All of this was d 'lish!! The margaritawasn 't strong but didn 't need to be. We definitely liked the queso while the salsa although good was....salsa. The beef on theTaco is uniquely flavored/seasoned. The shrimp were perfect. Everything was fresh! The breading of the taquitos is so good anddifferent from any other I 've had. Crispy. Light. Buttery ? . Yes! I recommend.

We recommend this place to everyone. Service was amazing and food was just as good. If we were rating this place on a scale from 1-10 it would be a 9 1/2 only because they don't have liquor liscence yet. We will definately be a regular here. LOVEDIT.

This cozy family-owned restaurant serves amazing tacos and drinks! The Dynamite taco is a true delight. I’ve found my new favorite margarita—Prickly Pear. The house-made salsa has a fantastic smoky taste that really stands out. We enjoyed our dinner at the bar while chatting with Ellie and Patrick. Exciting news: the LSU location will be opening soon!

The Taco Tuesday specials are fantastic! I really enjoy the variety of tacos offered, and it's great that the specials apply to all of them, not just a select few. I tried the paper and the scissors tacos; both were tasty, although a bit salty for my taste. The portion size was generous, and the salsa had a nice kick to it, which I appreciated! The service was excellent as well. One of my friends at the table is a vegetarian and accidentally had some beef in her queso, but the chef came out personally to apologize and was very sorry about the mix-up. We all appreciated his concern. From now on, this will definitely be my go-to spot for Taco Tuesdays!
