Kelseys - Barrie

We went with our hockey team as a group of 35. We only gave them a day of notice that we were coming. The service was excellent. Servers were friendly and attentive. We haven't waited for dinner long and it tasted great. It's not... easy served a hockey team and I had some really bad experiences in the past. That was by far the best team dinner I ever had. Well made Kelseys!!!

We usually go to Jack Astor. Never had a problem with them. Not easy. For some reason, the JA was packed on Mapleview Drive in Barrie at 5:00. I wanted to go to Kelseys. Never tried. Went online to her menu as... I was in the mood for a steak. The service was appropriate. I'd say pretty fast. I decide the balm mushroom that destroys 8 ounces of steak with potatoes. I have my steak and cut it in. The Steak WAS COLD. The potatoes were flakes (not even real). Mushroom topping was moderate at BEST. Steak was like leather. I ate two pieces and gave up. All for a $35.00 steak. Waitress came and I told her I was done and that was the WORSE STEAK I EVER HAD. Never asked what was wrong with it or asked if I wanted something else. He took the bill and paid the amount. ZERO TIP because she didn't deserve it. I left Kelseys. went over the road to Wendy's. I'll never come back to this. Oh... the couple next to us had the nachos.... I looked at them before my steak. The lady told me she had better. Win it a 6 out of 10 and that was generous. I should have taken her advice.

Terrible service... This is the first time in my life where I left a $0 tip! One of my family members did not receive their food until everyone else was eaten. Food was not very good... we had to ask for things like ketchup, parmesan cheese etc.... My nephew daughter had a FLY in her drink when she was released... totally disgusted... Don't waste your money

So my friend and I ordered the dinner online through the Kelseys website. I ordered ribs and a bunch of pages and so. so no problem placed there the order at 5:37pm and my girlfriend got the confirmation email immediately say 6:07pm it will be ready.... So I get about 6:08 no hurry and because of the Kovid I got in line to wait as the food was not ready yet. I keep waiting in the cold, wind and rain together with 20 other people. I wait for 40 minutes (6:50) then a girl pokes her head out of the door and she says, "oh we don't have ribs what else I can get you." You couldn't have called me when we put the order, and I had to wait all the time in the cold and in the rain for nothing, so I just said my money back. She said she would talk to a manager then came back and said, "You have to call the Kelseys hotline and get them to put the money back on your card" she couldn't give me a number for the place or something, so I didn't get any food because it was mistakes and wasted over an hour of my time and still has to fight over the phone to get my $65 plus back. Thanks to Kelseys on Mapleview drive for the terrible experience.

The review WOULD BE a 5/5 except the restaurant was out of chicken vindaloo and the waitress wasn’t aware. My wife ordered chicken quesadilla I ordered the classic sirloin steak. My wife and granddaughter ordered the broccoli soup as a starter....when the manager noted there...was no Indian food, my gd ordered steak as well. The soup smelled delicious, and both ladies attested it tasted just as good. The mains took a little longer to come than I would have thought, but it turned out they plated all 3 at the same time....excellent serve protocol. My lady’s meal was excellent; our steaks were done to perfection! The vegetables were cooked just right, and all went down in a VERY timely manner! Because she had to reorder her main, the manager comped a dessert for her....she opted for the funnel cake fries. It was presented well and tasted fine, (I know, because the waitress brought 3 spoons).. A great supper, in a clean, well managed restaurant, with attentive, courteous and professional staff.
