Contribuiți la feedbackI ate there twice, on a Sunday Monday night. Though it was not crowded, I did see locals there, as well as families. The owner was warm and friendly, but the service was slow and a bit inattentive, (never served my salad). The 2 appetizers I had were totally different. The Caprese had no fresh basil on it and the tomatoes looked waxy and unripe. In contrast, the shrimp appetizer with a tangy raspberry sauce was delicious. In fact, it's one of the best things I had in Bari. More good news is that the portions of food and wine are generous. Then came the shrimp risotto. There was a huge plate of it, and every bite had the right crunch and intense, uniquely shrimp flavor. Really mouth-watering and I am a tad embarrassed that I ate all of it. But they say it's a sin to come to Italy and not eat well.
We don’t speak Italian so it was great that the owner was very helpful in advising on choices. My dining companion ordered a tuna-based meal and loved it. The owner recommended a dinner for me with sausages and trofia pasta. Awesome! Hope I can find trofia pasta again. The only downer for us was the antipasto. Everything tasted good once we peeled off the batter, but before ordering you might ask for a fresh dish (unless your goal is to eat as much fried stuff as possible.
Very good restaurant. It’s not expensive and the portions are huge. If you are searching for typical pasta restaurant, I recommend it.
Cooler and quieter place, low loudness summer music, fast and competent staff. fresh and qualitatiw high quality foods especially fish abundant portions and super affordable. absolutely suggested!
Generous portions and very good dishes offered by blue eyes. good price quality, excellent service. a warranty. i recommend the frying and shalatielli alla vissani with artichoke and prawn sauce. they are also always open for lunch except on yoursdays which are closed and saturdays for lunch. good price quality, great service. a guarantee.
