The aesthetic is excellent, and they had chocolate/pastries/sandwiches too. We got the cinnamon roll and it was fantastic. It was like a croissant in all the best ways. The other plus is that this was my favorite neighborhood/part of Barcelona.
The best coffee/tea spot in town ! Their tea selection is also amazing. Best of all, they offer alternatives to cow milk which is really cool !
We stumbled on this by chance as we wandered through the mediaeval streets of La Born. I wondered whether it would be mainly for coffee-lovers but how wrong could I be? I was given a good choice of teas and thoroughly enjoyed the ritual involved in the preparation of my chosen blend: the careful preparation of the teapot and cup, the timer used to ensure the brew was of the highest quality and the friendly banter from the staff. What a perfect way to spend a relaxing hour on a Sunday morning!
I stumbled upon this cafe after walking around the Gothic Quarter when I needed a pick me up. I ordered a cafe con leche that was very good, served with a tiny sugar cookie, and lingered to admire the Art Deco stained glass floral design above the coffee bar.
If you love interior design you will love this place. Also one of the best coffees I had in Barcelona, just for €2. I thought it would be like €5 because of how nice the place looks. The service is very good and the staff are very nice. Would come back for sure.
