52cafe - Barcelona

This small coffee shop offers a variety of sweet and salty treats. It's perfect for a peaceful breakfast, thanks to its location. The prices are quite generous for customers, you can get two people satisfied for only 12€. All in all, a great place.

It may have been cafés and coffee shops in every corner outside our apartment in the Eixample area of Barcelona….Still, we ended up at 52 Café three times during our visit here in February 2019. And we ordered the caffè Americano an ”Entrepà Iberic” sandwich two of them for only €4. No tourist prices here! Which may be one of the reasons the locals seem to like 52 Café as much as we do. During our visits workers, students and dog parents in the neighborhood came in for a quick lunch, to buy a piece of freshly baked bread or, to have coffee with their laptops. The interior is a mix of the typical Mediterranean style with an industrial vibe like we see in many cafés and coffee shops right now. We perferred to sit down in the leather chairs paired with a low wooden table and the newspaper of the day. A scenery perfect for Instagram ;

This was just around the corner of our apartment and the family couldn't resist stopping by on either the way out or back for a lovely sugary treat. Nice coffee and lovely atmosphere too.

Este café es magia pura. una gama de bolleria y aperitivos muy variados, el pastel de manzana individual es lujoso. y sobre todo un extraordinario servicio al cliente, ya que ya no se ve en ningún lugar, gracias al tándem fenónico de eli y claudia cara al público, siempre con una gran sonrisa y trae alegría cada día del año, tanto que llenan de energía y positivismo tanto sueño!
