Contribuiți la feedbackI had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. They offer a selection of homemade vegan treats and dishes, which were delightful. Additionally, they serve oat, almond, and macadamia milk; I have to mention that macadamia milk is my favorite non-dairy option for coffee. Speaking of coffee, it’s roasted right in front of you! Joshua at the register was very friendly as well. If you’re searching for a coffee shop beyond Starbucks, I highly recommend giving this place a try!
A coffee blog sent me to Vent Coffee Roasters while on a trip to Baltimore and I 'm glad they did. Here 's my experience going on Monday morning in December 2021: 1) Coffee: They roast their beans onsite. As you order your coffee, you can watch them roasting! They have a full coffee menu, including a section for specialty drinks. I ordered their 'Bangkok ' with house made vegan condensed milk, espresso, oat milk and nutmeg. It was tasty and not too sweet. They also sell a few small pastries, My toddler was a fan of the small vegan chocolate doughnut. 2) Space: It 's a large space with benches inside and a few small tables in a room off to the side. During the pandemic, they ask you stay out of the main room once you have your coffee. 3) Location: It 's inside Union Collective, an old Sears warehouse converted into a space for local businesses. There 's a large parking lot out front and nearby are many other businesses from bars to a brewery, etc. 4) Service: It was efficient, but not friendly at all. The person at the register was fine, but the barista wasn 't friendly at all. She seemed very annoyed I had a four-year-old with me and promptly told us to go to the side room once we got our coffee. Everyone is entitled to a bad day, so hopefully it 's better when we return.
Great place to work and study. There are outlets next to the tables and the staff is super friendly. I got a latte with honey lavender syrup (not shown in picture). The salmon and cream cheese is delicious, would definitely come again!
This coffee shop is a lot of fun! The atmosphere is fantastic—it's cute, unique, and has an industrial feel. The music adds to the great vibe. It's an ideal spot to write a paper, journal, or catch up with friends. The service is top-notch, and the vegan donuts are out of this world. One minor downside is that the benches at the tables lack back support, making them a bit uncomfortable. Other than that, everything was wonderful! Feeling adventurous and hungry, I decided to try their veggie burger. As a dedicated meat-lover, I typically wouldn't order something like this, but given their limited menu and a recommendation from the barista, I went for it—and I was pleasantly surprised! The flavor was excellent, though the bread was a tad thick for the size of the burger. Overall, it was a great experience!
Having worked in the coffee industry for several years, I've had the chance to explore most of the coffee shops in the northern part of downtown. Vent has quickly become my favorite. I've been stopping by a few times a week lately because I wake up craving their breakfast and the energizing atmosphere for getting some work done. The coffee and breakfast sandwiches are excellent, and I'm quite fond of the staff as well. While I wouldn’t describe the ambiance or decor as anything particularly remarkable, that's not the main reason I go to coffee shops. There aren’t many outlets available, and the seating is pretty basic and a bit uncomfortable, but it's adequate for a few hours of laptop work. Overall, I would highly recommend Vent to anyone, and I'm really glad to see that they made it through the toughest parts of the pandemic lockdowns and restrictions.
