Jia Home Cooking - Baltimore

Even though Google said the place was temporarily closed on 11/10/2021, I was able to order it on Door Dash. I had one combo meal of spare ribs and one combo of chicken legs. The food tasted very much home cooking Chinese dishes. However, the package was very poor. The “vegetable” side dishes (tomatoes stir-fried with tofu skin) were soup-like and had spilled out. The bottom of the paper bag was completely wet. If I didn’t found it out early, the food would fall out of the bags for sure. The tomatoes tofu dish was very good. However, I would prefer more leafy vegetables.

The food is great. Lots of fresh bright flavors. Love the dumplings, Chinese hamburger, also the Kung pao chicken is great don’t miss out on the combo of cucumber salad and Kung pao chicken. This is more authentic Chinese food than most places around Baltimore the menu items are delicious and have a great flavor.

Great authentic Chinese food. Loved the spicy burger on green onion bun, as well as the kung pao and beef soup. I wish their hours were listed though!
