There was indoor and outdoor dining, and there was indoor and outdoor bar seating. My wife and I shared a cream of crab soup which was big enough for the two of us. We had separate main courses, either of which would have been big enough for the two of us. She had a whole fish with crispy skin, and I had a mixed shellfish over pasta in red sauce. Both were delicious. Came back for lunch. Had snakehead fish bites. Snakehead is an invasive species with no local predator in the Chesapeake region. Fortunately, snakehead tastes good so human beings can be their predator. Unfortunately, the snakehead fish are smarter than most of the fishermen so they're difficult to catch, and they tend to escape. They have legs. They can climb out of a tank, and they can climb out of the boat. Once fishermen figure out an effective way to catch them, they should come down in price. I recommend Barracudas. They're busy. Make a reservation.
The Lombard, piled high with corned beef. I substituted homemade potato chips for the fries. Great tavern food across the whole menu. My second time eating here and I plan on coming back again.
What a great place for a casual lunch. Great food and a cool bar in an old school atmosphere. Highly recommend!
We went to Barracuda's for lunch following a visit to Ft. McHenry. My wife had the corn and crab fritter and I had a BBQ pulled pork sandwich. The fritters were fresh tasting, plenty of crab meat and slightly spicy. It was nicely fried and not greasy. The pulled pork was a bit sweet but not overpowering. Very tasty. The coleslaw was fresh and the chips were fried but not greasy at all. Limitless iced tea. The service was great and friendly. Clearly a neighborhood favorite
It is the traditional neighborhood pub. The food and service was amazing
