As a resident of the Wendouree and Ballarat North areas, this is my top choice for sushi takeout. The food here surpasses that of bigger sushi chains, and the staff is consistently courteous. The personalized service sets this restaurant apart from larger chains. I particularly enjoy the avocado sushi rolls. The menu offers a variety of nori rolls, sushi bento boxes, individual sushi pieces, and hot options like gyoza. The convenience of being open seven days a week is also a bonus.

I absolutely adore the sushi at Yutaka Sawa. The staff couldn't be friendlier and more helpful if they tried. They are truly wonderful people. In my opinion, this is the best sushi in town. The rice is always cooked perfectly every time I order it. It is never undercooked or crunchy like I've experienced elsewhere, nor is it overcooked and mushy. The fillings are incredibly fresh and I appreciate that they consistently make new rolls throughout the day instead of preparing large quantities in the morning and letting it sit out. This is the ideal spot for a healthy treat. It's fascinating to see children and tradespeople coming here for their lunch. There are no longer stereotypes about who enjoys this delicious cuisine. People of all ages, genders, and backgrounds have finally realized how amazing sushi is. It is not just about "raw fish"; sushi is a traditional Japanese dish made with vinegared rice that is combined with various ingredients like seafood (such as tuna or salmon), meat (like teriyaki beef or chicken), or vegetables.

I absolutely love the Sushi at Yutaka Sawa.The staff would not even try to be friendlier and more helpful if they tried. They truly are beautiful people.I think this is the best sushi in town. The rice is "always" cooked to perfection every time I buy it. It is never under done and never a little crunchy like I've had out of town nor is it over cooked and sloppy.The fillings are super fresh and what I like is they constantly make new fresh rolls throughout the day rather than making bulk amounts in the morning and have it sit there all day.This is the place to go for a healthy treat.What amazes me is seeing children and traddies come here to grab their lunch. No longer are there stereotypes of who eats this amazing food.
