Pho Vy - Bakersfield

Worth the drive from the West side.Best in town by far.

So I 've eaten here now for several years. The food is consistently good. But again, I order the same thing every time ?. The owner is my friend lol. She calls everyone that. But she has a food memory... she definitely recognizes her customers and what they order. That is always a plus. Thr spicy pho with rare steak add shrimp never dissapoints. So, the atmosphere is what gets most people. It 's on UNION right in the center of it all. Little sketchy if you don 't know your way, but nothing has ever happened to me or my property. Tends to smell like someone hot boxed the parking lot lol but that 's outside. I still come here mostly during the day and enjoy a good ole home cooked pho soup! I recommend it!

I sampled their pho and was quite impressed. If you enjoy spicy dishes, I highly recommend going for the spicy version; it's really delicious. I didn't try anything else on the menu, as I only went for the soup. The interior is clean, but be cautious of your surroundings outside, as there were quite a few sketchy individuals in the parking lot. I opted for takeout.

The food was decent, but the service was quite slow. The outdoor ambiance didn't feel very safe.
