Contribuiți la feedbackCreative menu, excellent food, and fabulous service from Mac. Enjoyed the poke tower, Thai chowder, and salads. Coffee service after was outstanding.
Excellent seafood served just right. Oysters (Virginia) that can transport you to the ocean, and flounder and fries that could rival what you’d eat at Fish n’Chip joints in London. Reasonable wine list. This spot is a surprise find in Austin.
Hubs and I were given a $100 giftcard to Plank so we went to check it out this past weekend. Pros: Food was delicious! Restaurant is clean and modern. We were seated quickly despite showing up a little early for our reservation. We each had a beverage, shared an appetizer and each ordered an entrée. Brussel sprouts were amazing. Highly recommend. I had the bacon wrapped shrimp and grits. It was really delicious. Hubs had the fish taco and they were also good, but not as good as my dish. The server was kind and knowledgeable. Great location, free parking nearby, lots of great shops and restaurants around as well. Cons: Server, though mostly attentive, got busier as the night went on. My cocktail ran out, and I would've ordered a new one, but I only saw her once between running out of my drink and finishing my meal. The one time she did come by, she didn't ask if I wanted another. Also, this was a birthday celebration. I made note of it in our reservation, but neither the host nor the server made any mention of our celebration. Also, the restaurant is really loud. A table behind me was loudly talking politics... boo. I do not want to think about politics on a rare dinner date with my husband. (Not the restaurant's fault though). Overall, excellent experience. Just know it's loud and busy! Definitely order the French 75 cocktail if you like gin, and the bacon wrapped shrimp and grits! Yum.
Great seafood restaurant- we have been here several times and it is always consistently good.
I enjoyed the food so much. I had the dirty grid with shrimp was amazing!!! Sea foam margarita was great
