I didn't eat the beef or pork dishes as I'm curbing my red meat in take as much as I can. The chicken was good but felt it could've been spicier, tho of course I could've added my own chilli if I wanted. The xlb were good but I did want a bit more soup. Tofu was good. Eggplant was nicely cooked though it tasted a bit like pineapple to me oddly which I'm not a fan of. Would definitely return as its all very reasonably priced and the service is friendly and fast.
This is always one of my favourite Shanghainese restaurants in Auckland. All my orders were good as usual just a bit disappointed by their Xiao lun bao today. It could steam a big longer to make it juicer. The soup block hadn’t fully melted yet. Pan fried pork bun was amazingly good though.
Love the XiaoLongBao here, It is served steaming hot, if you look at the xiaolongbao there is a tiny hole on top of it to release the steam which is really thoughtful.Food are great and cheap as well, highly recommended
Found this nice and yummy restaurant when we strolling around balmoral Denny Setiawan, ordered fried rice and sweet and sour pork also taro bun.. foods are good except for the bun is quite plain
Authentic Shanghai cuisine served here service is okay, they take your order quickly and this is a place where you come for the food. The xiao long bao has great flavour however could do with more soup. The pan fried buns were very good, as with the salted egg fried prawns. Will definitely come back to try more dishes.
