Voya Sushi was great. The wait staff could work on the attitude, some stern, some overly casual. Morning breakfast was okay, ordered off the menu and it was good, but not worth the money paid.
I came to Atlanta to stay at the Atlanta airport best road I was lied to on the phone they told me that they have distilled water for CPAP machines on the phone got there that was a lie because we can't bring water on the plane I paid over $500 for 3 days I get to the room it's ugly as can be the prisons in Europe in the neverlands look better than this place the beds are very low there's no microwave it just looks like confinement I expected a lot more the Marriott in Chicago looks 1,000% better this room cost too much money to be like this which is nothing the phone does not work to call downstairs to the front desk I know we have cell phones but come on it is just an ugly empty place for too much money I had to change rooms three times because of things being wrong in the rooms the beds are HORRIBLE there couch felt more comfortable that's messed up
Very nice staff, 2 airport locations so be sure you know this before going as the drivers need to know obvs : Great place to park and fly or just stay as a guest. It's always busy in the lobby area. Very noisy so not a place to chill out and enjoy a drink etc. But it does it's job. For a Marriott that's getting harder and harder to find
We booked reservations here due to the name, location and it gives an upscale appeal. We had zero issues booking and even did a form with the payment info electronically HOWEVER COMMA there was CONFUSION at check in even after all that. Even staff member apologized and stated that someone didn 't take care of business . I appreciated the genuineness of staff: Kiana, Duane and Mr. Mosley. The room was nice; I was disappointed by the shower floor having some sort of crack that was not aesthetically pleasing to the eye this crack definitely stuck out like a sore thumb (see photo attached). AT VOYA (Restaurant): There was a staff named Sharlene who was passive aggressive, unfriendly and totally unprofessional. Sharlene encouraged other staff x2 to laugh at a guest which I thought was very tasteless and I was shocked to have witnessed it. THE FOOD I had was good (see photo attached). Fried Chix Sandwich (inclu. Provolone cheese, mixed greens, tomato, onions, voya sauce) with Fries THE GIFT SHOP was a bit over priced. I got a small bottle of Ocean Spray Cranberry Juice brought it over to the counter and when I was told the price... it almost took me out!!! $6.08!? You can get a 6 pack from the grocery store for that amount and still have some change to spare!!! Overall I would rate my stay: 6/10. It was good but it could 've been better for the amount paid and because it 's the Marriott... the name alone speaks upscale. There is definitely room for improvements. AGAIN, Shout Outs to: Kiana, Duane Mr. Mosley Manager. I appreciate the kindness, genuineness and great customer service.
I had a good experience the first time using this but the second time I used the hotel shuttle, on the trip back to the hotel from the airport, there was a bit of a wait for shuttles. It was a busy weekend night around 7pm. We were just about to get a taxi after 20minutes of waiting but then saw the Marriott shuttle from afar and decided to stay. We were so close, but then right before they came to pick us up, it turned to the other road that isn't for the shuttles and zoomed away, leaving us stranded us in the cold. At this point, it is now 30 minutes of waiting. So then we ultimately got a taxi and paid $30 for what is considered an included service. Completely unacceptable.
