Regal Cooking

I love sharing a restaurant that has good people. While walking down Athens, you’ll have everyone trying to get you to stop and look at their menu. We weren’t “forced” to do so here and were greeted kindly. Our server was so sweet and patient with us and even taught us some new Greek sayings. Ilda I believe. The food and drinks were a good pick me up after a long day of travel. I had to start with a chicken gyro. They had a bacon jam that went with it that was so tasty!!

Absolutely magnificent place. Centrally located, excellent wait staff, and the food and coffee were truly exceptional. My fiance had the fruit bowl and Greek yogurt (authentic and unlike anything you'll get stateside) while I had the pancakes with the stacked easy over eggs and bacon (I know, I know, USA). The presentation was great, everything was cooked perfectly, and the structural integrity of the pancake stack was quite impressive! Overall, a lovely experience. We don't usually ever visit the same place twice when we travel, but we may have to make an exception here. Thank you!

First restaurant we visited in athens during the day, this is situated at the back of acropolis museum. Location is good in a street full of restaurants, sat outside where you can watch the world go by. Service wasn 't the best, not very enthusiastic. Ordered my greek favourite day meal 'Greek Salad and Saganaki cheese ' greek salad was a poor version and saganaki came with salad too, saganaki here is my least favourite of all I have had. All in all it was OK but nothing special, would I go back no. But remember folks this is my opinion only...

The staff was really friendly and the restaurant looks good but the food quality was not the best. Ordered shrimp saganaki, they were old and definitely not the colour they should be. They changed them and brought me another meal but I have stomach pain after the meal we had there.

I had the lamb souvlaki which was so tasty, the lamb was really tender and all the flavours went well together. The staff were really kind and helpful too
