Tenuta Baroni Campanino - ASSISI

We had a wonderful lunch in tenuta baroni campanino. it is just 20 minutes from assisi on a mountain. the lookout is stunning. for a truly authentic experience with incredible landscape, eating and wein. do not expect a complete menu. They expect extraordinary sausages, ham and meats with delicious cheeses. the wee are excellent and they also have a handcrafted beer line. the service was attentive and knowledgeable. our three-year-old son had a lot of space to run while we enjoyed our meal. highly recommended if they are looking for a great lunch experience from the beaten track. my man is spanish and said you’re sinking “is the best I had outside spanish”. that says something!

For a truly authentic experience with incredible scenery, food and wine. Don’t expect a full menu. Do expect exceptional sausages, hams and Meats paired with delicious cheeses. The wines are excellent and they have a craft beer line as well. The service was attentive and knowledgeable. Our three year old son had plenty of room to run around while we enjoyed our meal. Highly recommend if you are looking for a great lunch experience off the beaten track. My husband is Spanish and said their ham “is the best I’ve had outside Spain”. That’s saying something!!
