Sushi Railway - Ascot

Go to this place all the time. Their fresh sushi is far better quality than other sushi places in north Brisbane, especially the rice, it is very soft and stays together. I wish they had an ordering app though.

I was in the area looking for a place to have a quick lunch when I came across sushi railway. Wow! I was pleasantly impressed. Delicious and very fresh sushi at a very VERY affordable price. I tried 4 different types of sushi and the fish was very fresh (no dark colours, no funny smells), they also didn't over-do the sauces and mayo as well. This place offers plenty of options and if you are not happy with whatever is on the train they will cater for your request. However, I don't think you need to order sushi... in all honesty this is one of the most varied sushi trains I've been to. It's not exotic sushi but what you get is variety and the beauty of simplicity. I'd highly recommend this place if your budget is under $15-$20 per person.

Nice staff, all ways happy to make orders. Pretty cheap price for an ascot sushi place! The best is tempera prawn on rice and flaming Salon and scallops! Take away is so easy too and fast!

Had a takeaway order that was preordered 3days prior for a specific pickup time. Parking was always a headache, however upon arrival, nothing had been prepared. We had to wait for all sushi to be made which postponed another 30mins of our time... This was the reason I preordered! Yet still had to wait :( however, the sushi tasted quite alright and at least everything was fresh. I don't think I mind dropping in to dine, but preordering maybe I'll give it a miss.
