Classy restaurant from appraised star chef Johan Segers. Serving both Belgian classics and own creations on a very high culinary level. The restaurant itself is in a historical building with alot of presence. Cozy, warm and breathing a welcoming atmosphere. The chef guides you through the menu options of the day at your table because he works with daily fresh products... One of antwerp's finest and most authentic places to go dining!
Had a lovely dinner with my collegues here. Michelin star awarded t Fornuis and it's chef Johan Segers offer the essence of Flemish cuisine with some surprising twists. The setting is also very unique and only to be found in this part of the world.
There isn't much more to say about this place that hasn't already been said. The dining experience was amazing, with friendly and attentive staff, and the menu was described by the chef at the table. I ordered the pork belly and it was the most tender and flavorful piece of meat I've had in a long time. Just go.
The chef at this restaurant is excellent and very entertaining! I loved the personal introduction on the table. The menu is great for vegetarians and those with gluten intolerance.
