Homestretch Clubhouse Dining - Anderson

This was a birthday trip for me and we randomly decided to stay in Anderson. We had reservations at a restaurant in Indianapolis and decided to give this restaurant a try and we were not disappointed! The food was great and our server Jill was amazing! She had such a great personality and vibe and made the evening even better! We will be back and have already told our friends! See you next time!

Steak came out very fast little flavor. Mashed potatoes didn't have a lot of flavor. The baked potato was very good and so were the mushrooms. But the mushrooms was way over priced you only got 3 for 13. Crazy

Birthday dinner was glorious! Chef's feature was shrimp and grits and they were phenomenal! I feel horrible I didn't notice server name but he was great! Very nice evening!! Our novice selves also enjoyed the live racing!

Steak was cold, mashed potatoes were cold. Not much flavor on either. Seemed like a generic version of a good steakhouse. Service was good. Just the food was very lack luster for the price.

The food was mediocre. Prime rib was tough. We ordered the chicken dish and got dark meat on the bone. The menu didn't indicate dark meat. Service was great. Bartender was being a bit too loud concerning feelings of job.
