The Hott Spot - Anchorage

Cozy mom and pop restaurant with a few things to choose from. Simple menus are nice. Hubby loved the beef sticks, they had great flavor and were cooked perfectly. I especially enjoyed the fried spring rolls and sweet chili sauce they were served with. We got the vegetable tofu hot pot huge! It was fun putting all the spices and sauces from the sauce bar making the soup our own. The veggies were very fresh and the base broth was tasty, hot, and all around felt nourishing. We very much enjoyed our date night at this intimate, cozy restaurant. PS: GREAT Thai tea a must get during your visit!

Super amazing food and experience. Their hot pots are all blended and specialized for amazing soups. I had their house combination and honestly I could go back for more already. Their crab ragoon is seeming to be homemade and taste really authentic, even their sweet chili sauce was good enough to eat alone. Super small and intimate setting, so not best for big crowds.

Sooooo delicious! We ordered a couple soups and apps, only complaint is we were missing some ingredients listed for our soups but the flavor was on point. We will be back.

Felt like I was at my own house eating. Fresh, filling and great taste. Was an awesome experience. I had the seafood and Thai bowls and was blown away.Wasn't busy, I'll definitely will return!

I notice there has been some changes to the menu. The beef sticks and crab rangoon are different. Sadly their iconic spicy house sauce wasn’t there. Also the soup tasted bland…
