Dropped by last night with no reservation and lovely waitress sorted us with a table. Lovely food and ridiculously good cocktails. I can highly recommend their **** mary, The Satchmo. Was so full from tasty peanut soup starter that couldn't finish my curry main...tough life. Friend said her ribs were delish and fell off bone. Was co-owner's bday, so evening transitioned into party with her friends, music and dancing. Was amazing, friendly vibe. If it's like that every Friday night they've got something special there. Great staff (waitresses, owners and chef all chatted to us during the night), tasty food and the best cocktails. Definitely worth a visit

Stopped in on a whim for a very nice drink before it is even officially open. Looks great, nice concept (poetry, food and drink), open late and I am hoping it will become a bohemian hot spot. Sam, the owner, is very friendly.

Nice homemade iced tea with ginger and lemongrass. and amazing Jamaican food on Mondays, really authentic!! it brought me back memories from holidays in Jamaica... they cooked the best rice peas I've ever had and the saltfish fritters were mind blowing! great concept, my congratulations to the chefs!

Really warm and atmospheric place. Excellent food, and truly world class cocktails from the hand and mind of principal mixologist Sam Kingue Ebelle. It's also a wonderfully supportive venue for poets, musicians, storytellers and all those who love music and the spoken word. Did I mention that Sam not only makes cocktails, he invents them. Try out his wonderfully sensuous, deep and complex, A Woman in Bed. Or visit of an evening for Monday night's Open Mike. Highly recommended.
